Joseph McNeill, 85, of 2092 Isaac Weeks Road, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, April 21st at Holly Grove Holiness Church with Rev. Dr. Randy Simmons, Rev. James Brewington and Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the church and at other times at the home.

Joe, born August 20, 1938 in Robeson County, was the son of the late Herman McNeill and Alice Maynor McNeill.  He retired as a pipe fitter with Fluor Daniel Construction.  Joe was Veteran of the US Navy and a member of Holly Grove Holliness Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters Dora M. Young and Deanna M. Locklear and brothers Charles, Zayre, Lee Straw and Eartle, Sr.

Survivors include: wife, Wanda Jackson McNeill; sons, Lee Marvin McNeill, Sr. (Angela) and Wayne Anthony McNeill; step-daughter, Amy Faircloth; grandchildren, David Glenn Young (Christina), Kasey Mortati (Andrew), Angie Talley (John), Armondo Muruato, and Lee Marvin McNeill, Jr. (Brandy); six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Candice Hapitana and Tyler Faircloth.
