Norma Mae Flynn Holmes, 66, of 6405 Main St., passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her home.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, September 24th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 PM – 2 PM, just before the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the funeral service in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Nora, born October 9, 1956 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Ralph Edward Flynn and Dixie Williams Flynn.  She was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James F. Holmes and siblings Evelyn Flynn Price, Ike Flynn, Maxie Flynn and Harry Flynn.

Survivors include: sons, James Edward Holmes and David Ray Holmes both of Clement; grandchildren, Destiny Nicole Sessoms, Lexus Lee Holmes, and Mercedes Mae Holmes; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Pope, Betty Jo Teasley and Rubin Flynn; and daughter-in-law, Chasity Holmes.

Memorials may be made to the family to offset funeral cost.
