Ronald “Ronnie” Darwin Warren, 78, of 202 Fox Lake Drive, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 2nd at Grove Park Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Shook, Dr. Dennis Brazemore and Rev. Cameron Dunn officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Thursday, December 1st at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Ronnie, was born May 24, 1944 in Sampson County, to the late Wellie Marson Warren and Joy Augusta Justice Warren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Marson Warren.  Ronnie started Clean-Rite Services, Inc.  with his partner and friend Jim Cooper in 1973.  Currently he was owner and operator.  He graduated from Clinton High School in 1962 and graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1966.   Afterwards he worked at Royal-Hall Funeral Home for a period along with Thermopane LOF.   He was a charter member of Grove Park Baptist Church and held numerous positions there including Sunday School Director, Sunday School teacher, Deacon, Chairman of the Deacons, and other committees.    He was married to his wife, Shelva Quinn Warren in March of 1963.

Survivors include: wife of 60 years, Shelva Quinn Warren; sons, Mark Warren and wife Amy of Elizabeth City and William “Bill” Marson Warren and wife Lori of Clinton; daughter, Kimberly Warren LaBorde and husband Nathan of Clinton; grandchildren, Cole, Trey and Matthew Warren, Liam and Rhys LaBorde and Alex Kockler, Morgan Lowry, and Brayden Lowry; brother, Douglas Wayne Warren; sister, Anne Underwood and husband Gene; sister-in-law, Delores Quinn; his beloved dog, Sadie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church, 609 Northeast Blvd, Clinton, NC  28328.
